Yes exotics are supposed to do more damage or have utility within the archetype which validates the OP's second sentence regarding Sleeper Simulant as it's an exotic.... The OP is also arguing that linear are stronger than swords even taking into account artifact perks, not that there is sword support in the artifact. To OP :- Yes swords could do with a buff to reflect the risk/reward unless you are running strand / syntho / banner Titan which is why they probably won't get one.

Queensbreaker has been an afterthought for most of its existence in D2, it finally gets its time to shine and the op asks why its good ? Sleeper had its time, in D1 it was meta for Atheon and basically filled the power vacuum after Ghorn was nerfed Has for Sleeper, I wouldn't mind if it got a buff

Stronghold I'd the play with swords. Invincible titan in the truest sense of the word.
