Control seem to be changed to Trials: players not taking damage, lag, lag, lag, sweats.......mostly sweats, moving like teleporting Ninja Spidermans.

4 回复Just signed on, first match. Ongoing game, it’s like 40:80, I get supered three times back to back. Game is stacked with players I have no business being put up against. That is an F, Bungie! Straight up, absolutely the worst experience and the biggest ef ju that you can give a player/customer. Really pathetic how they’re tanking this game while it literally has everything to be a long-term success. I hope Marathon fails miserably. And I’m sure it will.

1 回复Oh, I see we have finally come to learn that SBMM is a terrible way to match teams together….if only we would have listened to the top 1%……
-
3 回复The CBMM crowd chased away all the average/casual players, so now we have a pop so low it can't support either. The is what the vocal pvp crowd wanted.

2 回复由Magiscene编辑: 4/30/2025 1:48:31 PMI don’t mind vsing sweatlords as long as I have teammates that are sweat lords too. The matchmaking feels so one sided that it just ruins the crucible experience. I can’t remember if control is cbmm or loose sbmm but regardless whatever they have in place needs some tweaks. All I want in pvp at this point is fair games because i love those tense games that come down to a few points to victory. I get the population is shrinking but still.

1 回复Connection is the ONLY meta in pvp. The top players are teleporting because you're constantly lagging behind their god connections. Streamers and top pvp players know how to manipulate connections and pull host. You never see Frost or ZK in a match where people are peeking and teleporting unless they are calling CHEATER.

1 回复I have been saying this for years. Pvp and I mean all Playlist are horrible. Extreme lag, un-killable players, cheaters that cannot miss. And when I say they can't miss. Literally. How about sliding and two tapping you before you could counter. Yeah pvp is bad and bungie needs to address or pvp will take this game under.

It's crazy because I consider myself average to slightly below average, yet my lobbies are total sweat fests. If I join clanmates with them as fireteam leaders I rack up 30+ kills every game. Whatever algorithm is being played, I'm the loser.

1 回复I don’t mind playing against good players all that much—obviously, everyone prefers more “chill lobbies.” But laggy or teleporting players are a different story entirely. It just makes the experience miserable. I’m pretty confident it’s not my connection. I have FTTP (fibre to the property) with 900 Mbps down and 110 Mbps up, connected to my PS5 via Ethernet (NAT type is open, etc.), yet I’ve still had warnings from Bungie blaming my connection. Make it make sense? It really makes you wonder. Maybe, for the most part, most players’ connections are fine. Sure, there are some exceptions, but there are just way too many laggy or teleporting players. It has to be something on Bungie’s end that’s causing this—especially lately. These past few weeks have been terrible, and dare I say it, things have been even worse since the Marathon Alpha came out.

I feel like most of my matches are like flawless pool like once you’ve gone flawless, you can never leave the pool. I wish to have those more of a relaxing chill matches without facing flawless sweats or ascendant players like back in those days…

1 回复It's really just how bad the meta is, I'm fairly good and the skill based matchmaking for control seems to love putting me in the same lobby as people who are in the Ascendant rank, but every time I inspect them, they're just meta hogs. I play warlock so I don't have much to work with, and I can say that playing warlock is so much harder than playing hunter. I played hunter just an hour ago and it's a night and day difference. It's not that people are super sweaty, it's that they're using guns and load outs where you don't have to try anywhere near as hard to win fights

7 回复
Control seem to be changed to Trials: players not taking damage, lag, lag, lag, sweats.......mostly sweats, moving like teleporting Ninja Spidermans.
The weak ones asked for SBMM for safe spaces. Player numbers have fallen. Outlier protection was established to give people safety buffers but as the population falls, the search pool expands. All the people that never improved because they were insolated for so long are now once again exposed to people that grow and adapt. So here we are.
