Since Act II, Ive been focusing the bow exclusively in the Tome of Want and grinding the ever living blam out of the nether. A conservative estimate of bows acquired would be 100, but actually probably closer to 150. I have only gotten two with destabilizing rounds. TWO. Let alone destabilizing + repulsor. Either weightgate is still very much real or I'm the unluckiest guardian of all time. Would love for someone to come in and tell me just how horrible my luck is even with the conservative estimate

6 回复CRAFTING WOULD SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM BUT BUNGIE LISTENS TO THE FEW PEOPLE WHO PLAY DESTINY 2 FOR A JOB VS THE MANY WHO JUST PLAY AFTER WORK.

5 回复Totally agree. Bungie know what the god rolls are, the streamers do the sales job and the devs rig the drops so you don't get them. One day a whistleblower will spill the beans.

2 回复由DEATH-DEALER-213编辑: 3/26/2025 2:56:52 PMWhen I went flawless last week all six of my Adepts from the Lighthouse chest had Lone Wolf and almost all of them had either Zen Moment or Eye of the Storm. A few of the regular versions from that very same chest even dropped with Lone Wolf as well. I farmed 50+ rolls until I got my desired drop and a vast majority of those all had the same perks/perk combinations. I only saw Rapid Hit and Headseeker once each during those 50+ drops. Not getting your desired roll in a quick manner due to bad luck and bad RNG is one thing, but seeing the exact same perk combinations over and over again, while never seeing some perks at all, is another. It’s an issue that I’ve been noticing across the board in Trials, GM’s, Master VoG, and Expert Nether/Expert Court. Edit: I have never been one to wear a Spinfoil hat but with all the farming I’ve done so far this season, it’s kinda hard to ignore at this point.

It never left. At the absolute most, the only thing I’d imagine Bungie would’ve done was spin the proximity-based perk pool wheels so that previously uncommon combinations became common and vice versa. There is no ROI for them so I doubt they spent much time or resources to truly rectify the problem that has allegedly been present since the start of random rolls.

12 回复Agreed. Precisely why I won't waste my time chasing any non-craftable or non-focusable. Dungeon Legendaries are a joke.

I’ve convinced myself that the rolls a player gets more often are in predetermined seeds/pockets similar in function to how the item duplication glitch in Pokémon Red and Blue worked. The letters/characters in your player name determined the Pokémon (and their level) that would appear while surfing. Each letter/symbol was attached to a different Pokémon. Odd numbered slots in your name determined which species would appear, and the preceding even slot would determine the Pokémon’s level. I’m convinced something like this works for Destiny 2 perks, albeit much more complex.

1 回复This is how Bungie operate. When a weapon first arrives, a bunch of god rolls will drop right away, so that other players who inspect their peers equipment will be enticed to hunt for said god roll. After the first thousand or so drops, god roll becomes almost one in a million. I got a god roll Lotus Eater my first GM, which I did on the first day it was available. It’s been like this for awhile, and it’s scummy.

Wasn't weightgate an issue with 2 perks dropping in unison? If they were the furthest point away on the api (up or down), then it was ridiculously low drop and backed up by stats. What you are saying here is that you're massively unlucky and can't get a specific drop frequently enough. This is rng... there's a chance you can get the roll you want, but it's possible you never will. I don't agree with the rng logic personally, but it is what it is!! I still think crafting would be great, and a compromise would have been to only drop red borders randomly from seasonal activities.

由Zodleon编辑: 3/27/2025 4:53:00 AMTmk the problem with weight gate was that it's a RNG and those are never truly random, idk what they did to try and change it, but it's definitely still an RNG, and given that we've had fundamental systems break before after updates, wouldn't surprise if this one did too. Imo it's entirely possible for them to have attempted whatever fix they did and Destiny to have just said "nope".

That’s not weightgate. You using it incorrectly to purposefully stir up the community just makes it harder when we actually have another weightgate. Weightgate was about specific perk combos being less likely to drop together. So the odds of getting 1 perk were fine, but the pairing with specific other perks were heavily reduced. This was evident enough that it was extremely easy to notice the pattern. THIS just looks like you’re having bad RNG. You’re saying you’re having a hard time getting destabilizing rounds to drop at all - regardless of pairing perk. That isn’t a weightgate issue.

2 回复First one was the repulsor/destabilizing and I’ve gotten a few more, but for me it’s the joxers long sword… I’ve reset crucible 3 times almost 4, so I got the extra perks and not one with dragonfly/withering gaze
