Faction Wars Was Better
I would take the old factions wars over GG. Class vs Class is a balancing nightmare. 6 void hunters is just hard to beat. Not asking for nerfs. Just think faction war was a better idea.
Edit: I could’ve been more clear. The concept of Faction Wars is better in my opinion. Let’s assume they would’ve updated the activities for it.

6 回复I miss factions so much. Guardians games has just been a flop from the start. Should have been sparrow racing, it was right there.

Factions were severely underutilized. They had a good place in D1 as a passive leveling system. Faction rally was underutilized in D2 due to how they handled the weapon systems in Y1. Then they used a lame -blam!- season reason to boot them out of the game entirely

I liked the old version when there were events happening on the planets and they would often be occurring at the same time as a normal public event. Made for some hectic fights when they overlapped and several guardians tried to complete both simultaneously. It revitalized patrol locations for a few weeks.

Honestly I just like the idea of factions as they were in D1. It was a cool auxiliary (and passive) progression that gave your character a deeper identity. It’s honestly really weird that they chose to completely ditch them. I understand that not everything can be like the core activities/foundries where they all get some kind of new thing each season, but there’s gotta be some kind of way to make an optional thing like factions work.

What made the faction war gd is that we competed for faction exclusive weapons this event just feel not worth doing especially since I already have the weapons from past guardian games that became enhanced and the IB Trace rifle feels better IMO I personally think we need another Guardian games exotic weapon to compete over and the winning class gets an exclusive ornament on it with the class symbol

2 回复No ur blinded by nostalgia. Factions wars was actually so mind numbing and boring. Farming the fastest lost sector for hours on end was terrible. The only good thing about it was the exotic armor ornaments and we will never get stuff like that again.

2 回复I want to have the hunters you're facing. The ones I get are all sh!t players. Seriously, every time I go on this form, I see people complain about hunters, yet when I play pvp, I get maybe 1 or 2 matches that are good for myself and my buddy after that. We face teams that are way above our skill, and we get teammates that expect to be carried.
