If you’re set on getting an Exotic drop from a certain Dungeon you would do well to complete as many of the RNG Boost Triumphs as you can manage.
You’re currently sitting at 0/5 of these Triumphs for Vesper’s Host, leaving you with the bare minimum drop rate.
Descriptions for how to complete them can be found in the Triumphs tab within the Legends section, under the Dungeons heading.

I tried soloing the dungeon, but I couldn't get past the first encounter, always getting close, but never beating it. I've spent 23 hours trying to get the exotic, I'm already burnt out. If all the triumphs doesn't guarantee that I get the exotic, then I won't do them. I'm not interested in gambling with my time.

Look, you do whatever makes the most sense to you but how is running who knows how many runs without any RNG Boosts active any less of a gamble than trying to get at least a couple Triumphs to improve your odds?
Also it’s worth pointing out that Solo runs constitute only two of the five Triumphs available to you. Even if you believe Solo runs are outside of your current skill set, you can still get a few boosts by:
• Completing a grouped run of the entire Dungeon in which nobody dies.
• Completing a grouped run on the Master difficulty.
• Collecting all the lore bits scattered throughout the Dungeon (although you’ll want to be careful when grouping with other players at different Quest steps here to ensure you don’t get messed up).
