Last time I checked extending dps was optional so what's stopping you from doing that instead of wiping?
Also that oob route was never supposed to physically exist. Going through "solid" surfaces usually/only happens when you're already oob, makes sense they patched it given how easy a fix it would be.

Even if you can mitigate an issue in the game doesn’t mean the issue should be allowed to persist. Most people are going to try to extend dps, rather than forfeit half their dps phase. Yes, I understand it’s easy to patch, I’m trying to comment on dev philosophy, the belief that things like that [i]must[/i] be patched. When it doesn’t harm any players experience and also does not harm Bungie themselves to leave an OOB in, I don’t see why it needs to be removed.
