Guardian rank bugged and can't rank up
So I had almost completed guardian rank 7 to move up to guardian rank 8, and saw that I could interact with the tree before I had completed my last objective for guardian rank 8. I tried it and it revealed the guardian rank 8 objectives, but I stayed at guardian rank 7. I went and completed the final objective for guardian rank 7, but even then, I could no longer interact with the tree to advance to guardian rank 8, seemingly softlocking me at rank 7? Relaunching the game didn't fix anything.

Are you sure you weren't GR6 and levelled up to GR7? if you were renewing your rank (so you got up to GR7 last season) then technically you won't have seen any difference, you just got your reset Journey ranks to catch up to your active rank. What's the first objective on your current rank? Is it 'Complete the Final Shape campaign' or Part 1 of 'Complete the Final Shape campaign on Legendary'.
