Its really infuriating to lose comp rank when your teammates quits on comp.
It is the third time this happens and every time this happens I lose 100 points.

1 回复Exactly!!!! We should have some kind of protection. I had 2 people quit on me last week and lost my rank. 😤

1 回复I had a match the other day where my team mates kept reviving me so the other team could farm me over and over until I left the match. I clipped it, tried to report it to bungie, offering them to send them the clip (since I am not allowed to post it here because of the CoC). I was told to report them in-game ... They don't give a flying fux about the PvP side of this game...

1 回复Also, it's pretty infuriating when you get a teammate who follows you around trying to hit you and block your shots for no reason and ends with the lowest score, making you lose rank. At this point, there's so much bs that it's pointless for Comp to even be ranked.

It's absolutely infuriating. Unfortunately, if that weren't the case, there are people who would find ways to exploit that system. It has to work this way. Just hope that the serial quitters are being punished for it and move forward.

The fact they haven’t added Match Abandonment Protection in Comp is my biggest reason to believe they don’t care about PvP as a “serious” addition to the game. All game modes, comp, casual, and Trials are all really just casual.

3 回复I mean on PC its more annoying that the anti-cheat doesn't ban people. They still have to go in and ban them manually. Also, controllers are broken on PC, and have created an MnK community of XIMs to get the reticle friction of controller.

1 回复A simple solution that would also encourage more players to play Comp, would be to switch the current scoring system on its head, ie, 100 points for a W, and, say 25 points for an L. As for quitters - zero points; and no penalty points to remaining teammates. Ease Springs! 🫡

No one should lose points while running solo if a teammate quits and you should only lose points based on how well you did 1st 50 points 2nd 75 points 3rd 100 points If there is a tie amongst 2 players that are top then both should only lose 50 points and the 3rd only 75 points and if it’s a 3 way tie then 50 points lost for all 3
