Hi there!
There have been no other reports of this occurring other than your report, so far.
Have you spoken to XBOX Support regarding this issue?

I have for sure reported this, so can’t really say it has not been reported. I have seen in MS message boards where XBox controllers have been known to randomly turn off similarly when playing high FPS games on PC, but since I am not doing either of those things, I guess I’m SOL, huh? I can send you more clips if you like. Only happens when running Prismatic, has never happened otherwise, at any other time.

If you are using rechargeable batteries, it may be possible that the battery output may not be what the controller is expecting and, if there is not enough power for the controller to generate the desired effects, it may turn off. I would recommend replacing the batteries to see if this helps. If this does not resolve the issue, you would need to reach out to XBOX Support for further guidance. As you mentioned, if other players are reporting similar issues, it may be an issue with the controller firmware that they would need to investigate further.

由Fidel CashFlo编辑: 9/29/2024 7:59:56 PMI can’t remove the batteries, it is an Elite 2. It is kind of funny, but the controller works great under most circumstances, but under very special conditions, it turns itself off when playing a specific game, doing things specific to that game. I am sure Microsoft won’t care either. Thanks for your help!

If it is an Elite 2, you will definitely want to reach out to Microsoft Support for further guidance. On a personal note, I have that controller as well, but I do not have that issue. It could be signs of a manufacturer's flaw with your controller that may be under warranty.

Are you on X or S? And if you want, I will tell you how to recreate…whlie playing solo with Primastic equipped, pop an AOE super like Stormtrance, or S and S, etc, while in a very chaotic activity. I was pretty consistently getting it to occur on Hunter while in final boss room during legendary Iconoclasm mission, it happened several times by firing Aegis, as well as popping Silence and Squall. So basically the input that is problematic is hitting both right and left bumpers simultaneously. I put in a message on XBox help and they told me to try a different game, or a different controller. Too bad Destiny 2 is the only game I play😞
