Long post, so it's tough to discuss all the points here..
I don't believe GG on solar falls behind, because the rest of the solar kit is so good. I'll trade some damage to keep healing nades, empyreon, class energy on scorch, better scorch, and so on. Heck, in worlds first salvations edge clear, the guy was running solar hunter, not prismatic.
It's would be similar to wanting to give prismatic warlock nova warp instead of cataclysm, simply for the reason that prismatic warlock can nova bomb better than voidwalker.
I probably wouldn't change aspects around either. Some of those need to stay to keep anything that isn't prismatic still relevant.
I still enjoy the other subclasses because of the value and synergy they have.
What about threaded specter with combo blow is too strong? I doubt anyone is keeping the combo up consistently during pvp... and does it matter in pve?
I missed some points.. and didn't brag about my hunter, but thanks for taking the time to read.

Also regarding Threaded specter with combination blow. It's obviously never gonna be a relevant combo in PvP faaaaar from it. But Threaded specter in PvP has just proven to be an issue even though I don't personally mind playing against Hunter's using it. As for the combo in PvE it's actually an insane combo that completely messes up with enemy AI especially when you can set up 6 or more strand dummies. But this is mainly just combination blow being combination blow. Lastly I'm no quite sure what you mean by bragging about your Hunter? Anyways thanks for sharing your opinion :)
