The thing with Saint doesn't make any sense lore wise either.
[spoiler]from what i understood, the vex cannot simulate a guardian because paracausal reasons? So the entire scenario of saint thinking hes a fake doesnt make any sense.[/spoiler]

Not quite, we double backed on our timeline to save him. Our saint was MIA and never found, asumed dead we went back in time using the sundial to save him at the end of his timeline. if anything we created a parallel timeline in which saint exists but shouldn't at the same time.

Except we pulled Saint out of the simulation way back in Season of the Yawn. Even if the Vex can sim us now, I somehow suspect that that doesn't change their inability to sim us back when Saint was still in the simulation. I'm just gonna call it bad writing until more info drops.
