also noticed that when i did it i didnt get triumphs for completing the missions? i only got a triumph for completing the legendary campaign.

Hey there. The individual mission triumphs are for when you replay the campaign missions as the weekly replayable ones, on Hero, Legend or Master. Despite the 'any difficulty' wording, playing on Classic or Legendary does not count.
