The point of a commendation is to award a player for outstanding game play or helpfulness or something else along these lines. However in Destiny, because you got to get a ton of commendations to advance your rank, everybody will blindly commend every other player in his team in the hope of being commended in return. This causes an inflationary use of commendations and makes Destiny's commendation system completely point- and meaningless. I think that by just looking at this concept any halfway intelligent person should be able to figure that. Obviously you couldn't, Bungie (or you didn't care). The obvious solution would be to detach the commendation system from the guardian rank and limit the amount of commendations you can give per day. Was that too hard to figure? I don't get it how so many complete f' ups like this one could make it into Lightfall. Is there a new "league of rising young stars, creative and talented" you handed this game over to, because they are so awesome and would bring a fresh wind into this game's aging formula? Just trying to figure. If so, they are ruining the game. Whoever makes game design decisions like that, is in the wrong position, because he is vastly incompetent. Sorry, but not sorry for the clear words.
