They need to look at how players can customize their characters in Warframe and especially DC Universe online and take some notes. Let us set what color we want and give our armor some cool interactive materials like the Phoenix or Void or Cosmic material that DCUO has.
The kitsune armor set is possibly the best armor set in the game.

True but warframe had that system in place from day one, destinys engine is already a hodge podge mish mash of code, adding a system like to completely replace what we have would end up being super broken. This sort of system needs to be implemented in destiny 3, or when they finally make a new engine, adding it to current destiny 2 would be a disaster.
