They can use all the terminology they want, pick up one versus the other and the difference is night and day, not saying controller is broken op but the wording in the twab makes controllers sound like the objectively worse input that no one should use which is very much not the case.

I havent put serious time investment into using controller on pc but I have gone through phases of using it for a week or two at a time once in a while and I find it to be still very strong even though Im washed with them. In my experience each input has situational strengths and weaknesses. mouse and keyboard is significantly better in the air, it is better for movement, it overall is more intuitive and makes the game more fluid. Controller is way better with certain weapons such as SMGs, snipers, linears, last word, and rapid fire pulses, and generally is way more consistent because of the reticle stickiness or whatever you want to call it; as a result if you want to play a less flashy/erratic movement-focused and more boots on the ground game, it is significantly better overall. Two years ago when you could quickdraw glitch, had 100% in air accuracy, and didnt get punished for sliding, Id absolutely say MNK was superior overall because that playstyle was the meta. Any time hand cannons are the meta MNK will generally be better, because while controller isnt bad for hand cannons Id say MNK is better. But, in the current meta where its a lot of pulse rifles, a lot of snipers, linears, and in general very planted and passive play, I think it is a lot easier to play to the strengths of controller now than it wasnbefore. Does that mean controller is overpowered? Definitely wouldnt say so, that horse is beat so dead I dont even want to argue about it, it is of course not overpowered. This game is not like apex legends or a COD or Halo where it feels like the game was made for controller and MNK was just ported in half assedly; like I said MNK in this game is extremely fluid and intuitive and it is more than viable. But I dont think it is a clear better option nowadays. Both have strengths and weaknesses over eachother, I think controller strengths are easier to play to in this meta but MNK is obviously still going to be very good and by far more popular.

I mean reticle friction isn't bad. I just wonder if reticle friction alone offsets the extra accuracy, stability, and auto aim. I think inputs are very player dependant. What one player may absolutely slay with, another may not. Even players of equal skill. If a player has zero issue with tracking targets, he's going to get MUCH more from D2's MnK than a controller. That being said, if a player does have issues with target tracking, controller is the way to go. And that's my point. They're player dependant. Saying one is "absolutely OP" or "aim bot" is just not true.

由Rain编辑: 10/14/2022 7:29:07 PMUnfortunately with specific weapons it's completely true. Chaperone, snipers, last word, forerunner, sidearms and linears mostly. If you don't play both inputs idk why you have such a strong opinion considering you don't even play PC to understand the PC complaints. Mnk has a complete movement advantage aswell as SMG/AR/Pulses also being lasers obviously but sitting back bot walking with any of those weapons listed above equipped movement does not matter. I'd be completely content then since mnk is so superior why not have the controller option removed on pc? Since mnk is so superior right?
