... and forcing players with good internet to play with your bad internet is not fair to them

I agree! So why even have the requirement at all? 75 matches are excessive for people with normal internet. It is incredibly bad for someone with poor internet. Not everyone can afford to live somewhere with good internet :)

Er... you pay for speed and maybe the amount of information used never for Internet quality. The Destiny games have really not needed much beyond what is considered basic Internet speeds but has always needed a high quality signal. You pay for your up and down speeds (which should be considered separately) You do not pay for... NAT type. Signal latency. Data loss rates. Jitter. So unless you have really poor Internet speeds you should be able to play D2 without problems.... but you have been having problems which has ruined pvp matches for others hence the stand alone warning and now your second warning which came with the restriction.

My brother in Christ... Internet quality is speed... they are synonymous. And if he cannot control/pay for a different NAT type, signal latency, Data loss rates, and jitter... Then why is he being held accountable? Sounds to me like too many people have been gifted with high speed internet from youth and has never had to deal with inconsistent internet quality.

1. Quality and speed ARE different things. One is how much information can be passed in a second which is what you pay for. Quality is in what shape that information is sent or received in. You buy 2 bags of crisps (or chips if American). Both are the same price. One is in good condition (or quality) which is what you want. The other has been smashed so everything is just crumbs. This is the case here. They paid but the quality is not there something is wrong. 2. And the Internet quality IS controllable. It is up to us to monitor and fix issues or get our ISP to fix it. And you go and look at all the people complaining on the #Destiny2 forum page about players lagging and you are defending a culprit when Bungie takes action to protect others enjoyment of the game

My man... He cannot purchase better internet because of his location. You're saying his information is tainted as if its being mishandled but in reality the information simply cannot travel fast enough in order to be considered a stable connection. He's on that satellite internet. When his internet is stable, ya know when there is no interference, he is fully capable of playing without lag. It's that satellite internet. Not some quality issue. No matter the case he can't just get up and "change" the issue, as he has tried countless times before. This is, once again, just people feeling "attacked" because someone is crippled while playing an online game. This was never an issue until now because people feel threatened when someone lags, Black Ops 2 and other popular online titles in the early 2010's almost never had this issue from what I can remember. People take Destiny 2 PVP too seriously and need to be reminded that none of it matters. Your rank doesn't matter, your KD doesn't matter, none of it.

Your bag of chips makes no sense in my situation. I only have 1 bag to choose from. There are no other bags. I am being punished for being worth less economically. Most people play video games to escape their everyday lives not reminded that they are poor and can't afford to live somewhere with better internet.

I do have really poor internet speeds! I have had satellite internet for 8 years and have played Destiny for 8 years. The area I live in has no providers except for satellite. Starlink is back-ordered and very expensive when it is available. Playing with horrible internet is not some major advantage, most of the time I cant even deal damage and fall over dead randomly. I am just doing the requirements Bungie is presenting me. I do not enjoy lagging, it is not a choice. I cannot afford to move somewhere else to get better internet.
