Would absolutely adore a 3v3 non life-pool or elim mode back in the Crucible, permanently. Skirmish from D1, Clash or the often not available Showdown could all fit the bill. It could be one of or all three on a rotator, anything. So many still scrim in 3v3 customs and Clash is almost always the go to in these situations. 3v3 is a much more manageable game size as there’s simply less going on in a sandbox that is over the top after years of additions. Elim and life-pool is a much different play style, this wouldn’t be replacing it but just another offering. Showdown is a prime example, due to the revives taking away a point, players are forced to push as well as control heavy (ala Halo CE), players can also take more risks. As a Halo player since CE who played, still plays but continues to enjoy Destiny as well, this would be right at home and literally is the roots of Bungie. The formula is there and has been there, bring it back. If Witchqueen is bringing back a renewed focus on PvP, start here with more offerings.
