What’s a “Dead Game” that you wish was still alive?
For reference, my definition of a “dead game” is a game that is no longer receiving any more updates, attention or is just shut down entirely.
One game I really wish had a chance to thrive was Gigantic. It had really cool concepts, gameplay and characters. You play with a team of 5 to summon creatures that grant benefits across the map and kill the enemy team members so that your Titan can attack the opposing Titan, leaving them open for your attack.
The maps and camera angles made it really feel like a massive battlefield and the scale of the Titans added to the immersion.
At the time, I mained Trip and Tyto because they moved very quick and were useful for traversing across the map either for getting into fights or summoning creatures first. Now that I’ve been feeling like playing support roles, I probably would’ve mained the crazy old hobo alchemist who would fling potions that created aoe healing and debuff pools.
Sadly, the game never got enough traction and thanks to their lack of micro transactions, they never got enough financial support, leading them to shut down their servers, leaving a fun idea of a video game in the dust. Really wish it succeeded, though. Would’ve loved to see how it would evolve.

The Armored Core franchise. I used to be stupid good at PvP with an old friend, the music was always fairly good, and the gameplay made you really have to think and plan. Sadly my wings can only sit in their case, having been clipped in modern gaming. AC, gone. Anthem, gone. Titanfall, gone. I guess this old mech Ace might just have to retire at this rate...

The Denseness-2, tear it down and destroy it in fire! [spoiler]Satire, this game isn't good enough to deserve a remaster, but it might as well combine its 1st game into its 2nd game and merge everything. Or give this game an end and make a third game but make it more fresh and up to date. [/spoiler]

Would often just make a snake on wheels (literally just a head, bracers to make the body and 2 little rockets), and would somehow win. I also loved the emblem customization on this.

Mighty Quest for Epic Loot Really fun and interactive idea. Got both a good challenge and the satisfaction of killing other players indirectly in my own devious gauntlet. And was always fun to return home and read how my castle performed. Also it was more "pay to experience" Sure you could buy a huge Dragon or Spider boss, enemies and traps which would've been Pay 2 Win unless the owner didn't have to beat the dungeon themselves, so seeing the occasional moneybags mansion was very fun and balanced in a way.

5 回复I was really hoping Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer would be included in the Legendary Edition. I'll also mention Andromeda, Evolve, and Battleborn, which were all great, but were killed by a few bad decisions that got massive hate bandwagons from media. I hate living in the universe where those games got dumpstered while Battlefront 2 was "redeemed"

1 回复[i]I guess Anthem. Before I started playing Destiny, and Genshin Impact, I would have voted Phantasy Star Online Episodes 1+2, and/or Phantasy Star Portable 2. I was a massive fan of Phantasy Star Online games, and I was devastated when PS Portable 2 was delisted from the PSN store ( and my physical copy got stolen ). It wasn’t until I played Destiny that I found a game that scratches the same the same itch that PS Online series does. And recently I’ve really, really gotten into Genshin Impact, which feels like a true successor to the PS Online series.[/i]

The Last Guardian. I’m not saying I want more updates but I feel like people don’t give this game a chance. Same goes for Guardians of The Galaxy but I understand why people are skeptical after the last Marvel game Square Enid made. However, I’m more concerned about the fractions of my early childhood that were just erased from existence in favor of absolute trash. Max Steel(not those 40 minute abominations), Transformers: Prime, etc.
