I’m not sure what Bungie can do about account recoveries, but I do agree with you on the sentiment that ghost lobbies and win trading should be bannable offenses.
The fact that it’s even been monetized makes me cringe more.

Bungie has demonstrated they could link multiple accounts to one user on Steam (i.e., Baken), so they can definitely link a Steam ID to an IP, but I know for a fact it isn't as easy on console. And yep. Win trading needs to go. And it promotes recovs too which is ridiculous. Recovery services can knock out a lot more cards and make a lot more money if they don't have to play the game.
