To play against, Taken. Lore-wise, the Cabal, because I am so sick of them being the antagonist. Almost every other enemy race is more interesting to me and yet the stupid space turtles are the primary villain of D2, which really sucks

Taken and Hive are interesting Lore-wise. I’m surprised we haven’t seen as much of them with Europa and Beyond light. Guess that’s saving for Witch Queen. I agree, cabal have never been my favorite lore-wise. Fallen are slightly better, they have this connection to the Traveler. But cabal are just angry space rhinos asserting dominance.

Exactly. Personally I’m kinda miffed we haven’t seen a Fallen civil war like with the covenant in Halo 2, since their race is basically split in half right now with one side supporting us and the traveler (who we never even see) and the other actively fighting against us. Hell some of them want to take back the traveler for themselves and we’ve never once seen the Fallen trying to actually achieve that
