The image itself isn’t copy written, and is protected used under fair use laws. The only problem here was that I didn’t ask to use it. I credited him as the artist yes, but he himself wasn’t made aware; until I myself showed it to him. I contacted him on Twitter myself and gave him the direct link, tagged him, and followed up. His position was yes, he liked the concept, but didn’t approve of his images Affiliation because he had already built his own concept around it. So out of respect, I took it upon myself to remove it. Of course I didn’t have too, and I’m sure anyone would be able to see that. But I’m not out to upset people, and make a fuss over fan art. So if he wants it down, I take it down. It’s really not super complicated. But I do appreciate the support the post itself is getting :-)

So every meme or youtube I post on discord is subject to removal by artist? Really? Ever hear of fair use? He made the image public, and you can Google it, it is therefore covered under fair use despite what the artist thinks. He was using the art as a cover for his idea on a forum, which also makes fan fiction, lore posts, raid and game ideas, and feedback. Therefore the artist had no authority on telling him to take it down.
