Season of the Chosen: Game crashes when launching activities or after some time.
Hi, so I'm experiencing some issues involving the game freezing and crashing.
The first 20 mins of gameplay went pretty smoothly, could do the intro quest no problem, until I decided to launch a strike, which led to the game freezing.
I closed the game and restarted, tried launching another strike and it happened again. I thought about avoiding matchmade activities for the time being, and do stuff on Europa for challenges, everything seemed fine until, you guessed it, game froze completely.
Is anyone else having this issue? Probably the usual bugginess when there's a major update, but I also wanna be reassured I'm not the only one having this.

Bro at least u can load into something, I load into orbit, click on anywhere (for example the new tower location, EDZ, Deep Stone Crypt, Normal Tower) i get to the little "flying in" loading animation, I black screen, hear the transmate effect, wait 10 sec then crashes with no error code. Been like that since this season started. T-T i hope we get some compensation for not being able to play the season.

I am having it crash in several locations on different planets, list below from what I've found so far. I can get to the landing zone's OK and seem to be able to play in them just fine, but if I try to move to another location the game will freze, my controller will start to vibrate, then after about 10 seconds the game closes to teh Windows desktop without any errror message. Known location issues EDZ - Firebase Hades Outskirts Tangled Shore - Jetsam of Saturn I have tried all the recommended suggestions (verify files through Steam, updated video drivers, cleared the CVARS.XML file, turned off the NVIDIA Shader Cache, etc) and nothing has solved it. It's just about at the point I can't play anymore or accomplish anything, as where I can go is extremely restricted now. Can we PLEASE get this fixed?!??

1 回复I've been able to play a single arena activity after a crash the first time. It progressed and I can't even get it to work at all right now. Verified steam integrity, restarted computer, still can't get this issue resolved either. No error code, game freezes and then exits out immediately.

1 回复Same thing for me since the new season yesterday. I've had the screen freeze up, and then after a bit, the game auto quits and forces me back to Desktop. Very frustrating - happening every ~30 mins of gameplay.

Haven't tried any seasonal activities because I'm waiting for my fireteam so I've been running around trying to do lost sectors & regional chests. In the EDZ, my game froze -twice in the Gulch -once in Firebase Hades -every single time I've tried entering the Outskirts, using all 3 entrances multiple times On the Tangled Shore, I froze entering Jetsam of Saturn from Thieves' Landing. ETA: another failure to enter JoS. For the record, when it freezes, audio keeps going & my controller continues reacting if I'm on my sparrow or shooting, but the video completely stops. I already deleted & reinstalled the game on my pc. At a total loss what to do.

Ich meine ich komme nicht weiter und kann nichts machen weil es immer nur 5 Minuten dauert und dann ist mein Bildschirm gefroren und schmeißt mich aus dem Spiel so das ich wieder auf Steam lande.

Adding to the list. My game freezes and then crashes if I am in queue and the game is not in focus (tabbed out) or if I am viewing any screen in game besides the queue (character, quests, etc). It takes about 10-15 seconds before this happens. I have verified files through Steam 3 times since the patch, but the issue has not improved.

I don't know if this is still happening for anyone but it got worst for me since the hotfix. At least before I was able to go into spaces or locations but now it crashes for everything. so I guess until a proper fix comes out I can't play. Thanks bungie.

So basically after the update, I get random crashes. The screen locks up and then the game exits. Sometimes I cant even launch the initial screen - its stuck on the loading screen. I run a `pretty` good system and had no issues prior to the update. The current Gaming Experience I am having is terrible - I get to play to relax and this has caused me more stress as opposed to fun. Is there a time-line for fixing the PC Crash problem:? thanks

I also opened a chest near the entrance to the Blind Well in the Dreaming city and it crashed. Update: Tried to go back to the same spot where I opened the chest. Basically above and to the right of the cave between the Ether harvest PE and the Blind Well entrance.

1 回复Hey, y'all. Bungie just announced they've deployed an update for Steam. You need to log out of Destiny & Steam for it to take effect. I'm about to log back on. Hope this works.
