Completely disagree. S8 content was literally just the vex offensive and the leviathans breath quest for banshee. Vex offensive didn’t feel remotely meaningful to me. It was just killing the undying mind a lot. The only thing that made of feel remotely meaningful were the events that happened in S9 because of it. Meanwhile in S12 we officially find crow, free him from the spiders “service” kill a major combatant of Xivu Arath, Osiris loses his ghost, and the traveller speaks to us/crow and gifts us the hawkmoon. And that’s all preamble to whatever’s gonna happen in the coming seasons. No idea how this season felt less meaningful. I guess because it didn’t come in a 6 man matchmade activity?

But all you mention here is the story. The content we got this season is not worth even $10. For me, wrathborn hunts are uninspired boring and HILARIOUSLY easy. Even the celebrant is a joke. At least the vex offensive felt interesting to farm because the weapons were cool with good rolls while actually being fun to play. And harbinger is good and all but hawkmoon is a shadow in 120s right now so there is 0 reason to use it in pvp.
