Titans Archeology alongside, Mars, Mercury, and IO are not gone forever. Bungie stated in a TWAB, I don't remember which one, that the previously stated locations were placed in the Destiny content vault. They also mentioned a "Planet Rotation". Which may mean that certain planets will be available during certain seasons or expansions. So to put it simply, Titan will come back eventually.
