They dont need a damage Nerf .. They really arent used for optimal dps & the only legendary (besides komodo maybe) that's any good is the one from season of dawn with rapid hit firing line

If they were moved to special they would have to have their damage reduced. Right now their damage is sitting as heavy weapons. Are they good? -blam!- no. But having them in line with aggressive snipers damage and such would make them fit better as special weapons.

To be honest.. If that meant sleeper would get more ammo I'd be for it

Sleeper should remain heavy because of it literally symbolized as a heavy and actually can do good dps. Its other linears that are just sorely lacking why use line in the sand when I can use sleeper? Or any other heavy that isnt an exotic to free up an exotic for another slot? Now if linears could body shot guardians in crucible its be diffrent but like a sniper they require a headshot which in reality is just dumb.

This is the solution, throwing them in heavy does nothing, now no one will use them. Throwing them in the special slot without any modifications would break the game. They need to find the middle ground and just move them to special while also nerfing the damage.
