It would be nice if we can use their skins on new items. I really loved the look of the black armoury weapons.

Wish I would have known this before purchasing a weapon as well. This is dumb and waster my glimmer, enhancement prisms and ascendant shards. You should not even sell something if you cannot upgrade it. Major fail Destiny. Major fail!

This would have been nice to know before I purchased 21% Delirium from the Exotic Archive. After several hundred hrs of play I had not received a Legend Machinegun. I had the Exotic and Rare. A little research indicated this was a good weapon. After the purchase I discovered I could not raise the power level. This was a very expensive investment on my part that I would not have made with all the info. Buyer Beware comes to mind. It might also be nice if Bungie warned the buyer. Don't suppose I could return a slightly used Machine Gun?

Hey there, With the release of Beyond Light and Season of the Hunt, there’s numerous items being added. With that being said, much of the weapons associated with Season of Arrivals have a power cap of 1060 light. This is due to the Destiny Content Vault and Sunsetting. You can still use these weapons, however you can’t infuse them pass the seasonal power cap. Hi there, This limit is due to sunsetting. Items now have a one year lifespan. After that year past their release, they are capped at whatever the max power level is at the time and cannot go further. You can still use these items where light level doesn't matter, but you'll have to use new weapons in newer content.
