I must literally be the definition of the dupes people think of when the word addict is thrown around regarding this game series. It’s not because of pinnacle weapons or the raids or Crucible or Gambit. It’s not because of the repetitive bounties or filler quests that expand the run time of each DLC’s story quests. It’s just the in game story, just the characters and their development and the microscopic world building that has me hooked. Am I just a bit of data that development psychologists aim for as a customer? Am I just sucked in and don’t really matter to Bungie? I’ve been playing since the beginning of Destiny 1 and even have the emblem to prove I’ve done all of year 1’s moment of triumphs. I’ve taken breaks and been through the ups and downs and yet here I still am holding out for what is probably the most minimalistic type of content Destiny as a series offers. I just had to vent, I don’t understand it and I don’t expect people here to be understanding.
