I know why they do. Nobody, who's played this game for any length of time, wants to spend hours/days grinding the same old crap for the same old light leveling nonsense. So, players are desperate to get past that.

The smallest dungeon yet albeit pretty fun, but about the length of a long strike. And another worthless boring uninspired public event that just pulls from assets they already have in the game. So anyone complaining about not having enough NEW to do is perfectly within their right to do so. Stop defending what Bungie does. Try just a little bit to fight your rabid confirmation bias and understand how awful the forced power grind is every single season. We are running the same crap for the 4th time this year.

If you have been playing the game for a while the only content you want to really do is the new content.... which requires you to power level. I got to 1057 by saving 3x bounties and grinding everything and spending way to much time pushing vendors on my first character. Swapped to my second got to 1060 then heard about the farm from YouTube streamers! So I thought why not try it as the levelling system is poorly designed....pinnacles give only plus 1 after 1060 and 4 bonds later broke my will to go on.
