Never let these forums drag you down, these are the true plague-lands. For some it is too hard to understand that many of us still enjoy Destiny, and how dare we have such an oppinion

I guess I just don’t understand why people would spend their time posting toxic things constantly on a games forums that they supposedly hate and don’t play. It’s unfortunate that people in this community have unrealistic expectations for this game. It’s as if they think Bungie has unlimited time and resources to bring them a raid every season with tons of content. There’s not a single game on the market that has new in depth content every single season. Don’t get me wrong Bungie has made mistakes but that is part of developing a game in a world that is unique and constantly evolving. At least the devs acknowledge that they’ve made mistakes and for the most part Bungie has listened to the community and implemented a lot of our requests.

It’s a shame that you have nothing better to do in your life than to get on the Destiny forums and ridicule people who have a different opinion than you. If you think so poorly of the game why the hell are you on these forums? Not sure how old you are but one day I hope you can grow up and realize life is too short to spend your time ridiculing others.

由Starlight Raven编辑: 6/13/2020 9:13:24 PMI'm just here to build up my charisma and confrontational skills. Also, I'm here. Working on my own self-worth while you waste your time playing a "game" that resets your progress and has an expiration date? What does this game teach you really, discipline to keep a routine, while you pay a membership fee? Basically, an online intellectual gym with little to no benefit when your goal is finished. but life's too short though, right?

Never said this game teaches me anything, it is a way for me to relax and have a fun time with friends at the end of a long day that is filled with stress. If you really want to work on yourself I would suggest that you learn to respect other people’s opinions even if they are opposite of yours. Building up your Charisma and self-worth is not achieved by ridiculing others. All I’m saying is try and be nice to people even if you don’t agree with what they are saying. I wish you nothing but the best and I hope you learn to love and laugh.

but you just ridiculed me for me my opinion in your previous statement. You dont get to act all virtuous by defending your "good nature" by doing the same thing you're accusing me of and shaming other people who don't share your own ideals. Being "nice" just to be nice is just being fake. Being "nice" is what began cancel culture, where you take someone's life away because they weren't being nice. At least I'm honest about myself. I even said that you should express yourself even if your opinions aren't likely to be respected. If you deny people the opportunity to express themselves then the "non-niceness" remains hidden and if you take away their life, then you just made even worse off people than what you we're trying to prevent. Allowing people to express themselves is how we learn from each other and ultimately come to understand one another and agree more on what we have in common than not. Respect should be an earned privilege.

I’m Sorry you have so much anger inside you but I’m not being nice to “just be nice”. I know it might be hard to believe but there are genuinely nice people out there in this world. I’m not trying to censor people from expressing their opinion but if you’re only trying to tear people down and be mean just to be mean then I do not think you should be heard. We don’t need people in this world that have a negative and nasty view of everything so they tear down other individuals to make themselves feel better. If your only intent in every conversation is to be a dic* your not contributing to anything. I don’t care how you phrase it but if you’re on forums just to be mean and too “get better at confrontation” then I think you should be silenced and not heard. It’s those individuals that bring down our society and bring out hatred. As a veteran it’s everything I am against and will never support. Everyone can have an opinion but when your opinion is nothing but hate, it has no place in this world. This is my last response, thank you for the conversation.

Ignoring people doesnt solve any problems. In fact, it makes them worse. It's what creates them to begin with. Again, you're trying to be virtuous in a world that isn't black and white. You can't just be good for goodness sake. Everyone has their own demons to battle and it does nobody any good to suppress those people. You may have your own "code" that you follow, but it is in no way shape or form how another person's reality is dictated. Perhaps you need some outside perspective rather than purely being introspective. The pressures on humans within a society together as a whole need to relieve the pressure of hatred. It should not be capped, and left to explode.
