Everything else follows this formula... Itsreleasing a beta test after beta test untill youve squeezed 200+ dollars for a single game.

I've said to myself that I will never pre-order anything again, after my friend pre-ordered Fallout 76(I'm so glad I didn't buy it) But I have failed myself and already pre-ordered Ghost of Tsushima(since I love BloodBorne/DarkSouls/Nioh/Nioh2/Sekiro, I know that I will not be disappointed with Ghost of Tsushima) I already know that I'll be pre-ordering Diablo 4.

Then people stop playing games until someone gets it right and games aren't dead on arrival anymore. Otherwise this business model sticks and it actually turns out that people like that sort of investment even if you personally don't. At which point you either find games you do like or you find another hobby. I like Destiny currently. I'm eager for sunsetting. If its pulled off correctly, it can drastically revitalize the loot system of the game. Which is clearly lacking in quality. The new seasonal model requires less grinding and it allows me to play other games in my collection as well.
