I fully believe it can go beyond that into a full on new species and force all together. The veil or whatever the name will be being the darkness itself and that what we believe was just an evil energy or force actually is in itself physical beings. Literally someone needs to vote me on the dev team.. I will literally pack my shit and go to Bungie headquarters right now and start working on these ideas
