(Pokemon) Which starter type do you usually go for?
Which starter type do you usually like the pokemon in? Or do you just choose a different type each gen? Or do you choose a different way?
[spoiler]I personally really like grass types. Idk why but I usually just like grass types more than the other two. The exceptions have been gen 3 where I liked all the starters equally, gen 6 where I didn’t care for Chespin’s line, and gen 7 where I liked Rowlet’s line but liked Popplio’s a bit more. [/spoiler]

Charizard, Blaziken, Typhlosion, Infernape. Didn't play the rest. But, of the black and white starters I would have chosen... none. Because they all looked bad. Would have picked Greninja and Decidueye (?) in their respective games. But, I stopped playing after Diamond and Pearl, so. Doesn't really matter.

2 回复I've only played white 2, Sapphire, X and moon and in order, I picked Oshawatt Torchic The fire fox (forgot it's name) And rowlett, so I guess it's mainly fire?

1 回复I always chose fire. I think my brother used to choose water. We only went against each other on omega ruby and alpha sapphire. I had sapphire when I was growing up and coincidentally got alpha sapphire. Same thing with my brother except it was ruby.

18 回复I used to always pick fire, except Heart Gold, where I chose Totodile for whatever reason. But then came upon earth the majesty that is Decidueye (I know it’s mainstream, don’t @ me). And now it’s currently #teamSobble. #depressedChamealeongang [spoiler]Sidenote: Had I played XY, then I’d chosen water, for obvious reasons.[/spoiler]

1 回复It really depends on the generation. Gen 1 are all good picks, gen 2 Totodile, gen 3 Treecko, gen 4 is obviously Chimchar, cuz you know, best starter across the board. Gen 5 and above are trash so they not worth mentioning.

2 回复Gen 1: Charmander Gen 2: Cyndaquil Gen 3: Treecko Gen 4: Piplup Gen 5: Snivy Gen 6: Froakie Gen 7: Litten Yeah I’m pretty inconsistent.

4 回复I think I usually like the Water types. Squirtle, Mudkip, Piplup, Poplio. With grass coming in second. Chikorita, Snivy. But, my favorite starter is by far Fennekin.
