Nothing is going to change until we quit paying for this. Shadowkeep is going to be an eye opener for a lot of people I think. When the best looking gear that actually took time to make is stuck behind paywalls while the raid gear is essentially a reskin there’s a problem. I’m personally not buying Shadowkeep. Not until I see the community’s reaction for what I think is going to be a cash grab.

Yeah From what Ive seen, this entire dlc is a giant reskin with some changes to to Eververse for Bungie’s QoL and a battlepass nobody asked for. Ive realized that Destiny peaked in D1 and Im just watching the train wreck now.

The battle pass is a joke and proof that this game is going to crap. I’d have no problem if it was free to everyone but the best gear aesthetically is on the “premium” track that you have to pay for. The armor that actually looks like time was taken to make is all stuff you essentially have to buy. Heck the raid gear is a RESKIN for crying out loud while the set that should be the raid gear is in the $10 battle pass that doesn’t even guarantee that you get what you pay for because you’ll probably have to play the game constantly to get the stuff from the pass that you want or pay more at the end of the season. This “battle pass” is nothing more than a cash grab and the reason I’m not getting Shadowkeep.

And I wouldn’t mind that if they made quality content to earn in game. It all goes back to the fact that the raid gear is a reskin that took almost 0 time and effort while there are now 2 armor sets that you essentially have to pay for. The eververse set and the battle pass set that should’ve been the raid gear both of which you can tell time and effort were put into. This game is losing its soul and I can’t believe people are ok with it.
