I found a mentor, but they cannot help my blade skills. I would be most grateful if you could teach me.

Who knows, maybe you are better then me at the blade. I’m sure we could learn from each other then.

(I'm like a 4th level fighter equivalent if you've played dnd before) I have no lord to serve and wander this world. I do want to hone my proficiency on my journeys though. Would you join me?

(Ohh, I understand. I’ve been playing d&d for years so I can relate that to this. I’ve even made a character sheet for my character here, a level 16 fighter, and I’m considered weaker compared to the god like characters and things here, so you have a lot to learn if you wish to survive.) Yes, I’d gladly join you, and train you. Although I am technically stuck in an apocalypse right now.

(Nope, there are no D&D deity’s here, although I like to say my character comes from Toril. But a lot of people have power fantasy characters here that are practically god like. And those are things I can train you to fight around.) I will see you then, if I make it back of corse. Here’s some advice, if you run into a being who thinks it’s more powerful then you because it has much better gear and magic you can not win by charging it with a sword. Instead, use your head, think around it and outsmart them, use their godly powers against them, and make the fight not about brute force but about brain power and strategy, that way you will win. But at your level of power I actually suggest you run if you find a foe too powerful. What do you have as a weapon?

(That's awesome. Speaker seems pretty tough from his rp post) I currently have my simple nodachi, wakazashi and bow. The only magical item I have is this scabbard. A nice fellow named Zbruh crafted it from the hide of a thunder cat I killed. He hasn't told me what it does, but he said he'd be online soon.

(Thanks. Now I’ve made my character to be a noble medieval knight like character and I try to only used melee weapons, yet I’ve fought some of the thought ones here like speaker. But I can’t do it without a lot of help given the fact that everyone else has guns and space magic and all sort of stuff, some of it quite overpowered. But at least I have a cool castle.) Those are solid weapons, might not get you far here, but solid. I had to get magic weapons in order to survive and block things like lightsabers here, but I’ve once beat a guy in full power armor with nothing but a normal dagger. I could show you how. Who is this mentor of yours that you speak of?
