Hey crucible balance team, One thing I don't hear people talking about much is fusion rifles. They have kind of been left by the wayside for the last couple of balances. Is there any news on how they might be balanced in the future and perhaps where you guys think they are at the moment? I would love the lower impact to moderate impact fusion rifles to be at least viable, but currently they don't consistently kill even within shotgun ranges. The only viable fusion rifle currently is erentil, but its such a rare drop/is one of the only drops of that archetype. I'm basically forced to use shotguns in order to keep up in quickplay and competitive, and this is coming from a person who used plan c almost exclusively in d1 even when fusions were nerfed between year 1-3.
