1. Actually the game has lots of loading screens. Massive is just **very good** at hiding them. You get loading screens whenever you fast travel.....and you're also getting loading screens every time the game is having you either ride in an elevator or go up or down ladders or ropes. 2. The first Division game actually launched with MORE stability problems and glitches than Anthem did...and it took Massive MUCH longer to fix them. The Divison 2 is a SEQUEL....so massive had three years of live time with The Division to smooth out all the problems. So comparing a three year old franchise to a brand new one is just silly. 3. What "level mechanics"?? 4. The Division 2 deserves the praise its getting for three reasons a. Massive stuck with The Division and fixed all of its problems when they could have "taken the money and ran". b. Massive turned to their community to ask them what kind of game we wanted to play. They LISTENED to us. ACTED on what we told them and THEN ASSESSED the accuracy of what they'd done (BUNGIE). So the last 2 years was basically a giant beta test for the sequel. c. They applied all that they learned from overhauling the first game....applied it to the sequel...and then BUILT upon it creatively. So you have a game that is very interesting blend of shooter game....loot game....and open-world RPG that makes SENSE as an open world game. Anthem has its problems....but BioWare is fixing them fast...and doing MANY of the same "right things" that Massive did in turing The Division franchise into what we see now. Actually of the three companies, I'd say that Bungie in the most precarious position. They are fighting with their customers....ignoring feedback...and focusing on giving us new things to do. But largely ignoring giving us new things to chase.

Exactly, you get loading screens while fast traveling in any game, and there's no such thing as "hiding" loading screens, hundreds of people who played the beta have said they experienced very few loading screens. 2. Anthem isn't a new franchise, the game has been in development for 6 -blam!-ing years, and it still launched with lengthy loading screens, lots of glitches, and a serious lack of endgame 3. Each level plays very different and isn't another predictable, defend this, or capture this.
and there's no such thing as "hiding" loading
Oh yes there is. Ever played the "Insight Terminus" strike in Destiny 2? Its was originally a PS4 exclusive strike. There is point about halfway into the strike where you've gone through a Vex portal...and you're about to enter into a huge space where you're going to fight multiple waves of Cabal while you try to open the portal that the Psion boss you're chasing shut behind him. When you run that strike, there is ALWAYS a hiccup right before you enter that huge space where the game forcibly stops your forward movement and you get "Loading...." at the bottom of the screen. THAT is a camouflaged loading screen. Bungie hides them. Everytime you run though long passages trying to get from one area where a fight takes place to another......Just like anytime you're in space watching your ship fly around.....you are looking at a loading screen. One that is being used creatively...and that you can interact wtih to DISTRACT you from the delay while the game loads up the next play space or activity.... ...but they ARE loading screens.... ...and if you try to traverse that space faster than that game can load up the next area...the game will grab you by the collar and stop you. The only thing that Anthem is guilty of is making REALLY no effort to hide or make imaginative use of those screens....so they are immersion breaking...while in Destiny, Bungie hides them so artfully that they fooled you completely. You're looking right at them, and don't realize what it is you're seeing. 2. Anthem IS a new franchise and that is how long it takes these days to develop a NEW IP. Destiny 1 was in development for 5 years before it released. ...and as for the rest. Name me one new open-world, game-as-service, looter-shooter that DIDN'T launch that way. People get upset because they come to these games with unrealistic expectations, and compare these game to SINGLE PLAYER games like Witcher 2 or Mass Effect. Which is just a set-up for disappointment because you're comparing different types of games that have almost nothing in common. 3. Actually the don't play differently...and they are predictable. You just haven't played the franchise long enough to see the patterns. Now the experiences are still FUN....but Massive very much has their own style of doing things. Every stop to count the number of DOORS you have to open while you're running a mission or side missions inside of building? (Loading screen)

 • 1. I did play the insight terminus strike and I know what your talking about. But from what I've seen out of the division 2 it doesn't look like there -s that many immersion breaking, or camouflaged loading screens, I think that the people who reviewed the game would have mentioned it if there were these type of loading screens.
