Be warned, this contains spoilers for Joker’s wild Lore.
You were warned.
Brothers and sisters, I have just made an alarming discovery.
Does it seem suspicious that the drifter appeared in the tower right after Caydes death?
Or that his actions led to a division of the guardian community?
even more, his recent actions, Gambit prime notably, have distracted guardians from their duties in the Dreaming City, when we are ever so close to finding a way to break the curse?
This “drifter” could very well be an agent, of none other than the architect of the curse, Savathün.
I know what you’re thinking. “The drifter is working with the nine! And the nine need the traveler to survive!”
Let us not forget that the Nine blinded the Vanguard to the Red Legions approach, and that they are actively looking for was to sustain themselves without needing the Light (either that or Life). Plus, the drifter is a crafty man, so it isn’t out of the question for him to work for two parties.
Now, you might also bring up his backstory as evidence against this, but where is the evidence for it? The only perspective we’ve seen is the drifters, since he was the lone survivor, and his ghost has been silenced (albeit not killed).
Aunor is on to something. Drifter is definitely not who he says he is. He is either an agent of Savathün or worse,
Savathün herself.
I am either on to something HUGE or just a complete idiot in ignorance to a key fact. In any case. I am not siding with the drifter.
I’ll see you in the wilds.

Nothing indicates that he’s an agent of Savuthun or actually her (sorry but this is very tin-foil hat level conspiracy lol). I think he’s working for the Nine for now, but ultimately is loyal to himself and maybe the Guardian who truly sides with him. As his name implies, he’s a drifter, a lone wolf traveling the universe and I have a strong feeling he’s going to take advantage of the Nine for his own benefits himself, hopefully those who side with him will get a cut of that, myself included. Just my two cents.

20 回复No. Aunor killed innocent people with her light taking out a whole city block to get a hostage from the shadows of yor while drifter tried to peacefully talk them down. And mara says to not trust the nine and the nine says that the drifter is a liar (I think). And thus would lead to the nine being liars about saying the drifter is a liar.

4 回复I find it very suspect that Drifter appeared RIGHT after/before Cayde died. And who else do we know who could supply the rifleman with Thorn type bullets?

1 回复So you're telling me I lost all my shiznit from destiny 1, my beautiful ghorn, because of the nine?
Murder Time
4 回复If your only evidence for him being an agent of sav is timing and secondary consequences of his unique game mode, then Why is Ada-1 not also an agent of Savathun?

1 回复It certainly seems like they are setting The Drifter to be the villain going forward. Almost MCU Civil War-ish with Zemo(sp?) .

由PartTimeJesus编辑: 3/12/2019 9:03:42 PMSpoilers. You have been warned. The outcome will be spoiled, along with the rewards.
[The drifter quest is the best way to go. The vanguard quest finds that the drifter is just trying to stay alive, and isn't a threat. Yet. The Drifter side is the best side, because he wants to aim to help the Vanguard in his reflection of the event. Both give kinda bad rewards, with the vanguard giving an armor piece, 2 or 3 enhancement cores, and ten vanguard marks. The drifter gives a piece of armor, and one of every type of synth. the lore does lead you to the thorn quest I believe. The Drifter does regret the loss of life in gambit, and does feel emotion, I just wish someone had made it clearer to me that this quest is clearly one-sided. I'M SORRY DRIFTER]

I believe that Drifter had something to do with it. We already know he and Cayde had spoken before and worked together and we know he could very well have been the one to give Rifleman the dark bullets that killed Sundance
