anyone else find swords to be quite boring and underwhelming.
I always wanted the sword play to be something similar to how the original battle front 2 had it, where you swing the sword without loosing momentum or doing some jerky animation.Maybe have the lunge attack be a second button and add some combo moves that if executed right do cause massive damage or cover a large distance.
How about some new types of swords that handle completely difrent from other swords like a Rapier or a massive broad sword that looks 100 pounds...something atleast.
Anyone agree?
maybe some simple buffs would just do tho....

I don't think putting them in energy slot would be a good idea, because then it soils the opportunity to use energy weapons that would pair well with them. The only power weapons you'd have then are long range weapons, save for grenade launchers. Increasing their base and total magazine size, in addition to reducing ammo costs for power attacks and guarding, could work out fine. Making guarding more responsive following a swing would also be very nice. The Crown-Splitter, and future aggressive-frame swords, could really do much better if they didn't have a lunge attack. Lunging often hurts more than it helps, latching onto a single target rather than allowing one to take advantage of its cleave effect(given that enemies very often try and skirt around the player when they get close, especially melee enemies like thralls.) It makes its power attack especially useless. Speaking of frames, it would be nice if crown-splitter and quickfang weren't the only aggressive and lightweight swords in the game. Every single sword except these two has the same adaptive frame moveset.

1 回复Boring? Swords? You can do so many things with swords. Titan Flying, warlocks sword skating, wordline skating, and strikers sure hand can do 100,000 damage per hit. With the right role and mods it can get 200,000

Vulcan’s Right Hand - Exotic Sword - Intrinsic: Doomsday - Press RT to release a powerful AoE attack. Press while airborne to slam the ground. Using while sprinting results in a charging attack. - Heavy Guard - Crimson Inferno - Enemies damaged by your attacks burn. Killing burning enemies restores a portion of your health. (An Aggressive Frame sword base.) (Doomsday deals High Damage to anyone in the area. Consumes 5 ammo.) (Health regen is about 1/4, but is only activated if you kill an enemy that’s burning. That means you have to hit an enemy twice to regen health.

1 回复I’m sick of having uppercut to be the only heavy attack. Use the Titan & hunter sword animation (screw warlocks) on other swords. Such idiotic decision to make all legendary swords generic & underwhelming. Also, move them to the special or primary slot. There is never a reason to pick a sword over a shotgun.
