Nighstalker's Shadowshot in PvP is just a joke
First of all, it is incredibly slow to activate and while you're activating it, it seems that your Armor is not increased at all. Combined with the fact that it is not a one-hit kill, there is no surprise that people don't run away when they see you using it like anyone does when another Super is activated. They can just stay still, shot and kill you with zero problems.
Also, the Shadowshot is terribly slow and has almost zero tracking. You can dodge it by simply moving aside. Literally...
But the worst thing of all is the theter/suppression effect. It takes AAAGEEEEES to activate and trap someone. Honestly, I've lost the count of how many times I was 1v1, I used the Super and the other guy had all the time to activate his, and kill me before getting trapped or not getting trapped AT ALL.
When you use the Shadowshot as a trap against a wall, if someone pass close to it and activates it while he is in Super, he has ALL THE TIME TO KILL YOU before getting trapped.
Right now the Shadowshot is just a joke...

It definitely needs work. I’ll say that. Even in PVE it’s been nerfed. If you run nightstalker main, you will definitely notice the nerf. I wish they would fix the glitching. Sometimes you shoot a tether and it’s a dud. It’s been going on for year and a hasn’t been patched. I feel your pain.

5 回复There’s no point. As bad as it is they won’t buff it because simply put, it’s a hunter ability. That’s just the game we play now and we’re just gonna have to deal with it.

2 回复You are using a support super as an offensive super in a 1v1 situation, and you are wondering why you don't come out on top? You fire a trapping orb on the floor, and it takes about a second to activate, it is NOT supposed to be used as a panic super. You are supposed to be a stealthy support class, and know when to use your super, not shit yourself and spam it when you realize you're not going to win the gunfight.

Since they said they fixed it, it’s actually worse The fact that when it does actually tether someone they shoot it for less than 2 seconds to kill it is wrong! It should take longer than that

1 回复It has been in all of d2 crucible. I have at least 15 clips of watching a FoH land on the orb and destroy it then charge me and I die.
