Takes a certain kind of person to start counting up how many characters aren't heterosexual in a video game.
Take a deep inward look at yourself if you find gay characters genuinely upsetting.

Apples and oranges For an accurate analogy you'd need to count up all the people in a large public gathering with even the slightest of asymmetrical facial features and start comparing them to your vision of perfection. Your problem is you're equating being gay to basically having a horn growing out of your head. If you can't see the issue with that comparison and how it probably makes you a bigot, then I'm affraid this conversation will be completely lost on you.

It's actually noticing a specific feature of something versus noticing a specific feature of something. In 2015 about 3.5% of the population in America identified as lesbian, gay, or bisexual, which is a pathetically low number considering how much of a deal people make out of it just about everywhere you look these days, like Destiny for example. In Destiny a lot of the characters have turned out to be either lesbian or gay, granted Destiny takes place in its own universe so one could argue things from that standpoint, but it's still an unusually high frequency considering realistic stats, which is why people are taking notice. It has NOTHING to do with "wide spread bigotry". As for me, I don't really care either way, though I have noticed the trend going on and I do find it a little odd when comparing it to the number of openly or otherwise obviously homosexual people that I encounter on a day to day basis.

No I didn't, you came to that conclusion yourself. Though, it is true that homosexuality is an oddity when you consider that humans need a man and a woman in order to produce children, and that's basically the whole purpose or drive behind sex. The pleasurable aspect is just a chemical based reward system that the brain has worked out in order to get people and other life forms to actually "do it". I wouldn't worry too much about that though. That kind of stuff tends to go over the heads of simpletons, if they want to be offended by facts, I don't really care, lol.
