  • I feel like at this point the game is this ecosystem of tangled code. They likely aren't always sure what will happen when they tweak something. Not making "excuses" for them, but I can only imagine how ridiculous the code is for a project this large and ambitious. I've worked with some people on similarly large scripting/coding projects (non-gaming related) and just the thought of how many moving parts exist in Destiny actually makes me shiver a bit thinking about them tweaking anything lol. OnTopic: I do like the OP's suggestion though and have made similar comments regarding a system that allowed us to make our own weapons within certain parameters. I guess it'd be kinda similar to The Division's system.
