When you kill say hive or cabal in the simulation, they teleport with a vex effect. That means the enemy was a simulation. The vex explode and don’t teleport away, meaning they were not a simulation. Panoptes didn’t disappear with a vex effect either, meaning we really did kill Panoptes. Also, Osiris would have still seen the same outcome had we killed a simulation of panoptes.
