Don't be so simple minded. Look at the issue at hand from a general perspective instead of your own. The fact that a game can't be enjoyed unless you purchase optional DLC is ridiculous. Never happened in Destiny 1, so why's it happening now? If someone can't afford to purchase the DLC due to hardships, then they wasted $60 on a game they can't play end game content. You're god damn straight I enjoyed the absolute hell out of Destiny 2. I did nothing but grind and play this religiously when it came out and a few months afterwards. Now I can't do anything in the game in it's current state unless I buy their DLC? Don't you think thats a little ridiculous? And please try to look at this from not only my perspective, but just everyone else who is also upset. If you've purchased the season pass or just this DLC alone, then you don't really have an unbiased opinion on the matter. I'd even be happy with if they just took away the "Requires Curse of Osiris" bs that is the endgame.

Your statement of "I can't do anything" is incorrect and shows you are not being rational as well. There is a lot you can still do and some you can't which was to be expected. If I look at it from a general perspective here is what I see. If you have 3 characters all at or near 305 I find it hard to believe you or others in the same boat would continue to play the same content over and over. There would be no point as once you are 305 and earned everything you would need the DLC to progress. Many people would have bought the DLC leaving you behind so you would be left to grind the vanilla game for what reason? For those super casuals who maybe don't play much it sucks for them but I would guess those players were not playing the prestige level stuff anyway so it isn't a loss for them to begin with. Finally we have a large group of we are not playing CoO or I'm done with destiny who now return to complain they are locked out of content they said they quit playing already but since it is fun to cry and whine they now choose this to complain about. D1 locked people out of content and the same yells and screams were made. This isn't shocking to anyone except those who are looking to find the next thing to complain about.

Just another reason to complain. D1 locked you out of content as well. Maybe not the same way but it still happened. Most who say they quit playing are now whining they can't play. LOL You knew this would happen and yet your mad. Just jump on the hate train
