Not what I am getting at. Destiny 1 has purchasable wares from vendors. They implemented a smart loot system with Taken King. They had vanity items like armor and weapon ornaments. None of it is new, yet coming with the update as if to correct a mistake that was made. What this means is that our frustration with limited time events like Iron Banner, Faction Rallies and that Clarion Call can’t be taken back. And, using the past as a predictor for the future, Vanilla content holders will not reap the benefits of these changes as the content is soon to be whisked away behind DLC. It isn’t that they should be given new content for free, rather, they are soon to be unable to take advantage of a better reward system before the activities are taken away.
