Ah, right, because if Muhammad Ali said it, it must be true. You do realize that his argument about red birds and blue birds is invalid as those are different species, right? However, he goes on to mention pigeons. Take a look at the above photo. Do all those pigeons look the same? No, there are dark pigeons, light pigeons, speckled pigeons and iridescent pigeons all intermingling happily. And guess what, they will breed together. What about the most diverse species on Earth, dogs? There's more variation between dog breeds than human races, yet they have no qualms intermingling/breeding. The science doesn't back up Ali's theory.

由Zyklon B编辑: 11/15/2017 3:45:34 AMThose are all of the Columba breed of pigeons, they just have different patterns on them. There are hundreds of breeds of pigeons, all of them stay with their own kind yet they're all of the pigeon species. As for dogs, it's widely acknowledged that some dog breeds are smarter and more agile than others, and we select breed them to make the most superior dog. Are German Shepherds equal to Chihuahuas? Absolutely not. And nobody in their right mind should want to mix those races, as the German Shepherd would have it's bloodline tainted. And some people (for some reason) think Chihuahuas are cuter than German Shepherds and these people wouldn't want a Chihuahua/Shepherd mix either. Dogs also don't live as long as humans, don't run the world, or get married to eachother so they have significantly different responsibilities and expectations as humans. In case you're wondering why dogs are fine with themselves intermingling. Lol.

You're right though, they do tend to mate within their species despite different external characteristics... much like interracial families. As for your dog argument, you actually benefit from crossbreeding. Mutts tend to be healthier and more robust than their purebread counterparts. Some breeds even stem from the mixing of two different breeds such as the bull terrier or Australian cattle dog. If you really want to argue for eugenics in humans, you'd benefit from intermixing traits rather than isolating them. Artificial seperation of races doesn't better humanity, it hinders it. You're stunting evolution. But I digress. Again, how does me having married someone for love rather than genetics make me racist?
