Why are you celebrating ?
Do you have any information if the listed changes are going to be released to everyone or will it require a Paid DLC ?
We have basically only a list on our hand thats all. There is no time table , no conditions etc..
Yes it is good at least Bungie started to communicate however even the improved communication method is not clear.
I would salute them if all the listed changes will be released free of charge to all Destiny 2 player base. But from what i see , those will be delivered in a Paid DLC. Basically you'll be again forced to pay for things that suppose to be in the game already.

Actually that is not true , many people thinks developing is an extremely complex and time taking thing. It takes time but none of the listed changes in the list requires that long development time. I am a 20+ year long developer.

They did mention that they would be doing major updates at the end of each season that lasts 3 months. I think the updates will be separate to DLC but we will probably have to wait until the first DLC drop for the update. I do agree that we have nothing more than a token response and vague promises but at least the communication has begun, they couldn't exactly wait much longer with the forums ablaze and major media outlets covering the rampaging player base without doing irreparable damage to their already stellar reputation.

If they do it without Paid DLC , i would salute them however our history with Bungie proof that will not be the case. The updates they mention on Twitchcom was mainly related to Balance updates. Basically Bungie thinks re rolling weapon perks every 3 month and changing the meta will be sufficient for longevity of the game. I kindly oppose that idea as re rolling things will not solve the major issues with the game.
