Idk. I you're using different weapon types then the biggest differentiation between guns would be range so kudos. If you're wanting more from energy weapons I'd disagree, they already tear through shields and create blasts unlike primaries so there's that. Plus the fact that the weapons aren't interchangeable between kinetic and energy slots means you only have set weapons to use.
