Dude, if they made the rewards drop more often the game would get real boring, fast. However, there are plenty of Armour sets to collect, you have at least 3 different normal legendary sets, the trials set and the raid set, not to mention all the exotics you can collect; and that is for just one class type, you have one of each and that is a lot of loot you have to earn. The same applies to weapons, there are so many weapons you can collect from different factions.

 •
Dude, if they made the rewards drop more often the game would get real boring, fast.
I disagree completely. Progressing forward by getting better rewards that I can Infuse into my gear, is infinitely better than having a stagnant character that gets nothing but Blues, Glimmer, and a Token or three 99% of the time. Progression keeps people coming back day after day in a game like Destiny. Stagnation of progression due to low-level Loot Tables only creates boredom and the sensation that there is a dearth of content.

 • Yeah, and you give said tokens to the vendor to get legendary gear. It is incredibly and laughably easy to rank of vendors. Rank up vendors and hope for a legendary with a legendary mod or exotic, then use those and infuse them with gear. Get to 280, buy legendary mods from Banshee and put them on your favorite gear.

 • And that's still not a good argument in favor of the Loot system.

 • I don't know what Destiny 1 you were playing, but I never really felt rewarded for the time playing. The only time I felt rewarded was when I 2-manned Crota's End with my bro because LFG was so bad.
