Just had exactly the same problem. Got disconnected after no enemies spawned while changing area.

what a load of BS got booted out of the nightfall probably due to bungie servers now i've been banned for oath breaking guided games oath honestly bungie have got the last cash they'll ever get out of me again just wish i hadn't brought both DLC when preordering the game guess thats what i get for being a loyal fan/customer
