Hey friend :)
I heard some remark from the Ghost regarding the statue of Crota beside it that the statues were likely fashioned through some Hive spell, and speculation that the Vex erasure wouldn't be able to touch it as a result.
The idea that Nokris may be Aurash's father, King of the Osmium Throne is an interesting theory that I haven't heard before. You think that Oryx would count Crota as an equal to his frail father who was slain by Taox? I don't follow that idea, what backing do you have for the theory?

Vex erasure is just as paracuasal and ontological as Hive spells, what the statue was made of would make no difference as to wether or not it was erased. However there's a possibility that the statue being in the throne world would keep it safe from erasure. BUT we got the name Nokris from the World's Grave archive, which was not in a throne world, so I can guarantee Nokris wasn't erased since that name didn't disappear with him-her Oryx's father is what gave him and his sisters the drive to go on, the drive to go down into the depths of Fundament, the drive to strike out into the system. He is their beloved father and they have bound themselves by oath to avenge him. In a family tree, someone's father is just as significant as their son, its direct blood relation so it makes sense to have consecutive statues in this case
